math and logic are fables

According to Sartre, human beings are condemned to freedom, thrust into a universe devoid of intrinsic meaning and compelled to carve out significance through their actions and choices. In this light, mathematics and logic serve not as immutable truths but as tools for navigating the existential void, offering structure and coherence amidst the chaos of existence.

the acknowledgment of uncertainty and contextual understanding does not negate the utility of scientific inquiry or the pursuit of knowledge. Instead, it enriches our understanding by fostering humility and openness to diverse perspectives. some may argue for a return to classical determinism or objectivity, such arguments often fail to account for the empirical evidence and theoretical frameworks supporting quantum mechanics.

Math and logic can be understood thinking of them as virtual realities. They ahve no actual meaning. Its exactly the same as saying you cant tell where a subatomic particle is or else you cant tell how fast its going. Its like the history in the bible which only hints at the actual truth of what happened. Jean-Paul Sartre, invites us to confront the inherent ambiguity of existence and the responsibility to create meaning in a world devoid of inherent purpose. These things are meant to convey understanding and relative conception.

Within the philosophical sphere, the postmodern perspective challenges the notion of fixed truths, asserting instead the multiplicity of interpretations that shape our understanding of reality. Thinkers like Michel Foucault emphasize the contingent nature of knowledge, highlighting the power dynamics and societal structures that influence our perceptions of truth. Moreover, Friedrich Nietzsche's concept of perspectivism invites us to recognize the inherent subjectivity of all knowledge

Intellectuals often discard out of hubris and have a certain know it all mentality about even their own evaluation abilities. But to navigate the labyrinth of understanding, one must cultivate a humility born of recognition—the recognition that our grasp on truth is tenuous at best, and that the pursuit of knowledge is not a journey toward certainty, but rather a perpetual quest for deeper insight and richer understanding.

Knowledge is powerful and it’s important to find the truth in the world. It’s invaluable to understand both sides of the issue. The yin and yang so to speak. It’s not that you cannot cling to rigid dogmas, as they can provide structural stability and comfort it’s that your mind must not be fixed to the interpretation, but to embrace the fluidity of meaning and the kaleidoscopic diversity of perspectives that enrich our collective understanding of the world. Grounding this understanding in a personal creed of some kind be it biblical or scientific or otherwise can exponentially change the environment.

From a scientific standpoint, quantum mechanics disrupts our conventional understanding of reality, revealing a universe governed by probability and uncertainty rather than deterministic laws. So to understand the context inherently means being aware that nothing is actually defined and nothing is absolutely the case and nothing is completely right, its hard to refute this fact and consider yourself a modern person of science.

to understand mathematics, logic, and indeed all human knowledge, is to recognize their inherent subjectivity and contingency. They are not immutable laws etched into the fabric of reality but rather virtual realities shaped by human perception and interpretation. Embracing this perspective allows us to navigate the complexities of existence with humility and creativity, recognizing that meaning is not discovered but created through our engagement with the world.
